The NAVIS 3600 is a stand- alone, 4kW Digital Color Radar with a 36 nautical range. This feature rich and user friendly design encompasses a 10.4 inch trans-reflective color LCD screen in a waterproof housing. The super bright LCD screen provides outstanding brightness with great color and clarity even in bright sunlight. The display also features a wide 170 degree viewing angle and a patented coating that significantly reduces glare. The rubber coated keypad provides positive tactile feedback. The sea, rain, gain and tune controls are analog ‘style’ for ease of fine tuning. A compact 24 inch radome antenna completes the package. It has a low profile for high speed craft and up to 125 mph wind loads.

All-digital circuitry produces exceptional target definition. Targets are displayed in different colors according to their return echo strength. So it is easy to interpret large dense targets (boats) from small less dense targets (birds). Some of the outstanding features include Adjustable Pulse Width, three Electronic Bearing Lines (EBL), True Motion, two Variable Range Markers (VRM), guard zones, North-up, Heading-up, Course-up, Auto Tune, Sea and Rain control , Relative Motion and Target Zoom.

Other key features include RS232 interface, heading display, position display, wake tracing, waypoint, radar interference removal, alarm, false image rejection, printer support, simulator and AIS overlay support.
